Spring Anime 2012 Season Preview: Naruto Shippuden SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden (ロック・リーの青春フルパワー忍伝)

There is not enough of information on this show, for which I am grateful. Not because I am tired of writing – not at all, but because the description will not ruin the expectations nor will it have the chance to wind up the fans of the show disappointed before they have actually seen the show itself. We know that it will be about Rock Lee and his adventures with the fellow ninja.

CHARACTERS:

Neji Hyuuga is a son of the exiled branch of the Hyuuga clan. He has the power of Byakugan and cal control chakra points.

Tenten is an expert in weapons. She usually fight with a scroll from which she takes out knives, swords, bombs and seals.

Kakashi Hatake is a leader of the former Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke Team 7. After that he had become a guardian for the young Naruto and a trusty laugh with his admiration for the late Jiraiya’s erotic stories.

Guy Might is the leader of the former Neji, TenTen and Rock Lee Team 11. He is a master of pure physical power.

Rock Lee is the protagonist in the series. He is the ‘mini me’ of the always training Guy-sensei.

Sakura Haruno is the girl all fans of Naruto either hate or love. She loved Sasuke Uchiha before he left and began loving Naruto Uzumaki before finding out he’s too strong to burden himself with love anymore.

Naruto Uzumaki is the usual main character. He is the bearer of the Kyuubi Nine-Tailed Daemon Fox and the child of the Yondaime. The last successor of the Uzumaki clan as far as the main story has revealed.

Although I do know a lot about the characters from the original Naruto and Nartuo Shippuuden, I have no idea what the character’s roles will be in this spinoff series, I am reluctant to try and give more information about them.

This show begins April 3, 2012 and its main broadcaster is TV Tokyo. Crunchyroll will also stream the series in several regions of the world. The paid members will have a simulcast while the free members from United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden will have to wait a week for a legal episode on Crunchyroll.
